In the second game against the cup winner BMA365 Bamberg Baskets, the second-placed team of the regular season won 85:71 (46:38) and now leads the series 2-0. Only one more win is needed for ALBA to reach the final. This can already happen on Thursday (20:30/Dyn) in Bamberg. Berlin is dreaming of its first championship since 2021. The Berliners took an early lead and held it throughout the game, narrowly but consistently. Only in the second quarter could Bamberg keep up, thanks to a three-pointer from point guard Martin Hermannsson with the sound of the halftime buzzer, ALBA won this quarter 18:17. After halftime, the team from the capital built its lead to 20 points at one point and was no longer catchable. Best scorer was, as in the first game on Saturday, Jack Kayil (17). Hermannsson also showed with 16 points a strong performance.
